Madeline Ruth Carr

Madeline is the proud founder of the Bell Tent Orchard. In the beautiful, old-growth apple Orchard where she grew up, she is seeking to connect others with the environment using the power of her personal stories and experiences on this vibrant land. Madeline has a degree in Interdisciplinary Leadership Studies from UNB and has always been passionate about environmental education.

Charles and Toby Carr

Charles Carr is the owner of the Orchard property who built the lodge 30 years ago and raised his family on the property. Since Charles and Toby married, the lodge has served as a seasonal retreat for the Carr family - all of whom are excited to be revitalizing it for more people to enjoy, and committed to its long term protection & preservation.

The Caretaker Commitment

During your stay in the Orchard, you can expect to regularly encounter Madeline, Charles, Toby and/or another member of the Carr family in the shared lodge. All caretakers are happy to answer your questions about the Orchard and are committed to ensuring your stay is excellent and memorable.
